Information Office The Centre aims to promote the development, conservation, growth, protection and display of the historical, scientific and naturalistic material of the University, also promoting it use for teaching and scientific purposes. In particular, it aims to provide support for educational visits by school students by means of decentralised teaching rooms. The Centre aims to coordinate the development and strengthening of the university museums in a unitary perspective. The Centre maintains relations with external bodies, both public and private, in particular with local authorities; it raises funds through consortia and agreements, and promotes cultural initiatives such as exhibitions, conferences, round tables, etc.
N.B. Museum opening times may be subject to change due to a major refurbishment programme that is now under way. It is advisable to obtain up-to-date information from the collections, or from the Museum Information Office, before visiting the collections.
